Fox News star Maria Bartiromo received big news from the second quarter ratings this year.

In a press release from Fox News, Bartiromo’s show “Sunday Morning Futures” earned the top spot for both viewers and the coveted 25-54 demo, with over 1.7 million viewers and 245,000 in the demo watching her show on Sundays.

“On Sundays, FNC’s Sunday Morning Futures with Maria Bartiromo earned the top-rated spot in both viewers and the coveted 25-54 category during the second quarter, with over 1.7 million viewers and 245,000 in the demo,” Fox News said in a press release.

“MediaBuzz, hosted by Howard Kurtz, delivered 1.4 million viewers and 198,000 in the 25-54 demo, outpacing CNN’s Reliable Sources across the board for the quarter and held a 101% advantage in viewers and a 78% advantage in the demo over the CNN program, which averaged only 678,000 viewers and 111,000 with A25-54, with June being its lowest-rated month in the 25-54 demo since 2001 with 79,000 viewers. CNN’s Reliable Sources notched its lowest-rated quarter with total viewers since 2019 and its lowest demo month since June 2001,” the statement added.

 

“Meanwhile, FNC’s Life, Liberty & Levin outpaced every CNN program in total viewers, drawing an audience of 1.7 million viewers and 179,000 in the 25-54 demo, securing the next most-watched program in total viewers for the quarter, Sunday Night in America with Trey Gowdy earned 1.5 million viewers and 157,000 in the demo, while The Next Revolution with host Steve Hilton secured 1.3 million viewers and 160,000 in the demo,” it said.

“Notably, FOX & Friends Weekend on Sundays outdrew CNN and MSNBC every hour in total viewers and the 25-54 demo during the quarter, with 1.3 million viewers and 200,000 in the demo. MSNBC’s newly-launched weekend show Symone has been outpaced by FNC in the 4 PM/ET hour by triple-digits among total viewers and the 25-54 demo, notching 387,000 total viewers and 35,000 in the 25-54 demo since launch,” the statement said.

The popular Fox News show “The Five” continues to dominate cable news ratings.

The 5 p.m. show far-outpaced its competition on Monday, pulling in 3.53 million total viewers. The second highest-rated show on cable news was “Tucker Carlson Tonight,” which racked up 3.11 million total viewers.

“In the key 25-54 age demographic, The Five also landed in first place with 498,000 viewers. Tucker Carlson brought in 409,000 viewers to come in second in the demo. Rachel Maddow led MSNBC with 2.28 million total viewers, making her the most-watched female host on Monday night as she just beat out Laura Ingraham’s 2.02 million total viewers. Jake Tapper led CNN with 541,000 total viewers at 5 p.m.,” Mediaite reported.

This has also been a huge year for host Greg Gutfeld, who co-hosts “The Five” and has a popular late-night show on the weekends.

Gutfeld’s 11 p.m. show on Fox News landed second in all of cable news in the main 25-54 demographic on Friday, beating out The Ingraham Angle (with guest host Jason Chaffetz) and “The Five,” which he co-hosts.

Gutfeld’s show drew a whopping 2.02 million total viewers, which beat out Ingraham’s show at 1.9 million. Gutfeld! fell just short of beating “The Five,” which drew 2.92 million total viewers.

Fox News dominated the cable news ratings in May, with Gutfeld being part of two shows in the top 7:

Fox News anchor Sean Hannity recently became the longest-running prime-time cable news host.

Popular host Tucker Carlson’s primetime show smashed another key barrier and became the number one most-watched program among Democrats in the key demographic of 25-54 year-olds.

In May, “The Five” was the most-watched show on cable news in both total audience and among the key 25-54 age demographic.
